I am most likely the only board member that is a native Chicagoan. I was born in Chicago and grew up on what is now considered the West Side. I attended Southern Illinois for two years and then returned to Chicago to finish up at U of I - Circle receiving a degree in Accounting. And that is how I ended up getting the position of treasurer for Chi-Town Squares.

I began square dancing with Chi-Town Squares two years ago. I read an article in the Chicago Tribune about Chi-Town and decided to see what it was all about. It's been great fun every since. I've been to two conventions and several fly-ins. I made some really nice friends in square dancing both in Chi-Town and other clubs.

I hope that I will be able to give something back to Chi-Town during my term on the board.
