Standing Rules of the Finest City Squares

Board of Directors meetings
Board meetings will be held monthly as arranged by the Finest City Squares’ board.

Dues
$18.00 for seniors (60 & older), students (half-time and above), and associate members
$35.00 for Sponsors (designated by a special dangle)
$50.00 for Benefactors (designated by a special dangle)
$26.00 for others

Finest Member award
The Finest Member award is given annually to a member who has shown outstanding service to the Club. Previous recipients who are FCS members choose the awarded. FCS dance fees for the awarded (including the Fly-in) shall be waived for one year.

Newsletter
Issues of the Club newsletter are generally distributed electronically. If a member informs the Newsletter Editor or a Director that s/he cannot receive the newsletter in that manner, the Newsletter Editor will mail a paper copy to that member.

Signatory authority
Two signatures are required on checks. The Board determines which of its members beyond the Treasurer and the Assistant Treasurer shall have signatory authority.

Relationship to other organizations
A.      IAGSDC

1.      FCS is a member organization of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC).

2.      FCS is represented on the IAGSDC Executive Board by a Delegate and an Alternate Delegate. The Delegate and Alternate Delegate are selected by the FCS Board.

B.      SDSDA

1.      FCS is a member organization of the San Diego Square Dance Association (SDSDA).

2.      The Board determines who represents FCS at SDSDA meetings.
