Hey Everyone - Here are some of Lu Minaria's recollections from HTQ 2006.
The affair was hosted by " The Fabulous Cow Patty ", who had won the year before in my town, "Sunny,CA" - aka Silicon Valley. Miss TFCP called for a "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" theme. For the uninformed, "badonkadonk" is slang for big butts. Well, that was roundly ignored, except for the ever loving Ima Cornholer. Ima was resplendent with a big padded ass in place. I was a part of Ima's presentation as her announcer. Ima was asked to go first. ( Ima was not happy about that as I recall.) After asking Miss TFCP's husband to go and tell Miss TFCP that the contestants and especially Lu Minaria were unhappy about being asked to hang out in the kitchen, and then being allowed into the cavernous ballroom, but, being asked to sit at a distance to the side ( ? control issues ?) we began.
The aforementioned Ima Cornholer was first up. Ima ,her large fake ass and her trusty announcer ( me ) were part of an act that was top notch. Ima was a contestant at the " Walking in Heels Competition " at Gay Games Chicago-2006. It was live on ESPN 24 ! The action was swift and Ima soon went down to the Italians. She struggled, but, alas, she was not the winner of the Walking in Heels Competition. ( Nor was she the HTQ winner that night, but I digress.)
Next up, if memory serves me right was the lovely "Indeara Indeheadlights", and her entourage. It was amusing and entertaining and that is all I remember - sorry. Next was........... you tell me? ( We can edit and add to this record if anyone would like to let me know of omissions/errors.) I can only remember that Miss Wilma Titzgro was last and it was soon apparent that her total disregard of the badonkadonk theme, and her magically growing bust, were getting all of the attention from those that matter most to a HTQ contestant, The Judges. ( You all know who you are - I have forgotten !) Needless to say, that Miss Titzgro walked off with that tired old boot/crown ( that I have schlepped all over the USA at times, over the last 15 years or so.) There you have it, HTQ 2006 - Anaheim, was won by Miss Wilma Titzgro of Denver, Colorado. She was tits ! Congratulations Wilma ! |
