We dance at Le Patro Community Centre, 40 Cobourg Street (Just south of St. Patrick, a few blocks east of King Edward), Ottawa.

bus routes 5 and 7 go past there (stop number 2402).
It is about 4 minutes north of the interesection of Cobourg and Rideau Street.
Nearby bus stops on Rideau are for route numbers 2, 7, 14, 15 and 18.
Note that dancing is located in the first room downstairs from the entrance near the parking lot by Clarence Street.
There's lots of free parking available.
The club started up in February 1995.
We are located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We are proud members of both the International Association of Gay and Lesbian Square Dance Clubs and the Border Boosters Square and Round Dance Association. Our nearest sister clubs within the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs are the Toronto Triangle Squares (Toronto, Ontario) and Independence Squares (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). We actively participate in local, regional,
national and
international square dance events hosted by a variety of clubs and
associations, both gay and straight. Our most active involvement tends
to be in Montréal, and members from our club travel as far as
Washington, Detroit, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Anaheim, Vancouver and
Toronto and Atlanta representing our club and meeting new and old
friends.
We danced at the 2006 outgames in Montreal, where square dancing was recognized as a cultural activity.
We are fun, social and just enjoy dancing together. No one is too serious or has too many expectations of anyone else in the club. Club administration is relaxed; just organized enough to make decisions and get things done. The focus is clearly on enjoyment!
