Our next lessons will begin Thursday, September 4th. We will be hosting "Taste of Square Dancing" events on August 21st and 28 at at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in the Greenlake Neighborhood . No Experience necessary! Come give us a try! (While our next scheduled class begins in March, we can start lessons any time for a motivated group of people. Just ask!)
We teach the full Mainstream program in about 20 weeks. Square Dancing is not hard (anyone can do it!) but it does take time to make the response to the calls automatic. If you are not able to join us this session, let us know. We are always willing to start a second class if we have enough students.
Lessons cost $130* and include the students first year club membership and badge as well as free entry to all club dances while a student.
(* we don't want anyone not to join us because of cost. Please talk to our treasurer if you need to set up a payment plan or reduced cost.)
We generally follow Andy Shore's teaching order. It is a slight revision of the official Callerlab teaching order and should not cause student's any trouble if they go to dance with another clubs students before they have finished the program.
