INTRODUCTION TO SQUARE DANCING OPEN HOUSES Our annual Fall Intro to Square Dancing Open Houses are being held on Tuesday September 22 and Thursday October 1, 2009.  Classes begin Thursday October 8, 2009 You'll learn all about square dancing, and many of the Basic/Mainstream calls with a live caller. No experience or partner is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes, and bring your friends. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free!   Locations: OPEN HOUSES September 22 and October 1: PS3 on Hudson St. between Christopher & Grove. Time: 7:30 PM. Directions: Take the #1 to Christopher Street. Walk west to Hudson. CLASS SCHEDULES 2009 - 2010 BASIC/MAINSTREAM: The 2009-2010 Mainstream class will begin on Thursday October 8, 2009 and continue through April 2010. The class will take place on Thursday nights from 7:30PM to 9:30PM, with an optional review each week from 7:00PM to 7:30PM. The instructor will be Betsy Gotta . It is not necessary to register prior to starting the class, nor to attend the Introductory open houses. The weekly class fee is $10. The class will take place at PS3. CLASS RESOURCES INCLUDING CALL DEFINITIONS PLUS: The 2009-2010 Plus class will begin in October 2009 from 7:30 to 9:30PM and will continue through March 2009. The instructor will be Howard Richman. You must already be totally proficient in the full Mainstream program, and be approved, in order to participate. The weekly class fee is $10. The class will take place at PS3. CLASS RESOURCES INCLUDING CALL DEFINITIONS Advanced 1 and 2 (A) The 2009-2010 class will begin in October from 7:30 to 9:30PM. The instructor will be Daryl Murphy. You must know the full Mainstream and Plus programs, and be approved, in order to participate.
