Toronto Triangle Squares

Triangle Squares has been an active square dance club in Toronto since the spring of 1987 when Anne and Joe Uebelacker agreed to call for the newly forming club. Triangle Squares became a member of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC) in July 1988 at the convention in Scottsdale, Arizona.

We offer weekly dancing at all levels from Basic through C-2, sharing the calling duties among club callers Joe Uebelacker, Andy Chong, Don St. Jean, and Costa Roussakis. We have monthly dances with guest callers like Tim Crawford and Barry Clasper. These social dances are quite popular as members gain extra floor time to enhance their square dancing skills.

Triangle Squares is a member of the Toronto and District Square and Round Dance Association Inc. and the Canadian Dance Association, through which we continue to be visible and vocal and to express our interests, opinions and needs. We actively support and participate in many straight square dance activities in the area.

Whenever you're in town, please drop by and see us. We always extend a warm welcome to visitors and are delighted to show everyone what kind of hospitality Toronto has to offer.
